During the implementation of our Erasmus+ program <<School is the Flame>> we were searching the origins of the team games that children play into the school yard or into the streets. Also we wanted to know if there is a connection between these games and the ancient Olympic Games and many modern sports. Finally our goal was to search if there are similar childrens’ games among Europe and our partner countries, Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey. All the school partners were researching and the results were amazing. Not only we found many similar games among our countries, but also we have found many similar games between modern games and ancient games that we realized that they were the forerunner of the sports of Olympic Games and of many modern sports.
