625 A CHINESE PALE CELADON JADE EWER AND COVER QING DYNASTY OR LATER Carved in shallow relief with Immortals amongst rocks under pine and peach trees, the handle formed as a phoenix with a loose ring hanging from one of its tail feathers, the cover surmounted by a knop formed as Shoulao riding a deer with a sprig of lingzhi in its mouth, the stone with some russet inclusions, 15.5cm.
