Responsible design is about being mindful of the whole lifecycle of our products. From the initial concept through to the end of a luminaire’s life. Our three prioritised commitments guide each decision we make and are linked to the UN Global Goals for Sustainable Development.

Committed to going further than carbon neutrality, we are actively reducing emissions to as close to zero as possible across our entire value chain.
Astro Circular
Transforming our approach to design and engineering, we are generating new ways to lengthen the lifespan of our products and ensure that circular loops, such as reuse, repair, and recycle are adopted.
Light For All
Nearly 600 million people across sub-Saharan Africa lack access to light but this can change instantly with a simple solar light. Our partnership with global charity SolarAid, aims to spread awareness of this global energy crisis and support the most remote communities in Malawi and Zambia with clean, safe, solar power.
