Our custom etched letters and numbers are available in a range of 6 styles and 4 fonts, ranging from traditional to contemporary and make a striking statement whether used in the door glass itself or in the sidelights / toplights. All our custom etched designs are produced using sandblast techniques with a computer designed ‘resist’ cutter, we can ensure perfectly created letters and numbers every time.

Care and Maintenance

Your composite door has been designed to be easy to maintain. To keep your door clean, prolong the life of the surface finish and protect your warranty, we recommend you wash it regularly using warm soapy water (washing up liquid is ideal) and a soft lint free cloth. If you live in a coastal area, in a heavily industrialised area or near a main road, you may need to clean your door more frequently. It is important that you DO NOT use any of the following on your door:

⊲ Abrasive cleaners or scouring pads

⊲ Any type of bleach or solvent (e.g. white spirit, methylated spirit, cellulose thinners, acetone or nail varnish remover)

⊲ Any type of adhesive or tack for providing temporary protection or fixing of seasonal or other decorations etc.

⊲ High pressure or steam cleaners

Door Construction

Every composite door is manufactured to the highest of standards to ensure it is strong, durable and secure. The door has a perimeter sub-frame of a solid, water-resistant polymer material, which is reinforced with Laminated Veneered Lumber (LVL). A thermoset GRP skin is bonded to this sub-frame and the core of the door is then filled with high density, 100% CFC-free polyurethane foam. Water resistant polymer composite rails protect the core from damage or water absorption and the high impact resistant thermoset GRP skin keeps your door looking great for longer.

The door’s core is what makes it so thermally efficient and so good at reducing noise pollution.

OUTER FRAME

This versatile profile allows for a multitude of door combinations and styles as well as offering the benefits of PVCu, such as durability, low maintenance and excellent thermal properties. The classic chambered design integrates the composite door seamlessly with the Total70 window scheme.

The outer frame is available in the full range of laminated foil options enabling a perfect match to a customer’s windows. Utilising our in-house spray facility the outer frame is also available in any RAL colour finish enabling a truly personalised entrance to the home.

As standard the Rehau outer frame is reinforced with a dedicated steel reinforcing section offering strength and integrity as standard.

LOCKING

High security and peace of mind as standard. Available with a choice of Yale or Winkhaus multi-point locking systems, our high security range incorporates options for lever / level or lever / pad split spindle operations and goes on to include auto fire variants in both standard position locking and heritage position locking. The Auto fire variations are a standard feature for doors specified with non lever action handles, such as the range of contemporary pole handles or the heritage pull escutcheons.

Every door incorporates a multi-point lock solution that is designed, developed and tested to deliver the highest levels of performance and security.

The doors security is enhanced further with a high security 3 star rated euro cylinder included as standard. The kite marked cylinders are certified to the TS007 British standard, the highest level of certification currently available. Endorsed by the Police Secure by Design scheme the 3 star cylinder offers maximum security for the property.

THRESHOLDS

Supplied as standard with a dedicated low aluminium mobility, easy access threshold, offering a seamless transition from inside to out.

A range of ergonomically tested ramped aluminium thresholds for disabled access are available along with a full frame rebated PVCu option.
