Merry Christmas everyone!

Thank you for the amazing commitment and effort you have given to our customers and to East Boro throughout 2022.

I’m always happy to include your birthdays, anniversaries, births and good news stories. If you would like to contribute to YOUR staff newsletter, email: sue.hole@aster.co.uk

It was a really busy year which seems to have passed by so quickly. I hope after the last two Christmases this one is more normal and Covid free for us all. I also hope you have a great time with all your families and thank you for supporting our customers over the festive season.

You make a huge difference to them all year round but especially over Christmas which is so emotional for so many. The very best wishes for a happy, healthy and successful 2023. Another busy new year ahead and I wish you all the very best for what I hope will be a good one for us all.

With the compliments of the season, my thanks as always and my very best wishes.

This year East Boro will be increasing its contribution to £12pp towards a Christmas meal (not drinks) for all staff members. Whether you choose to go out as a department or a group of co-workers is up to you.

Where and when you celebrate is your choice entirely, all we will need is a list of those attending along with their bank details and a receipt.

Email Cara: clewis@ebht.org.uk

Once your proof of purchase is received, individuals will be reimbursed directly into their bank account.

Take a leap for the Aster Foundation

We’re looking for colleagues to take on our first ever charity challenge to be a Leaping Change Maker for the Aster Foundation. You’ll skydive from 10,000ft and every penny you raise will be used to deliver our impact programmes enabling the better lives of 40,000 people by 2030. We have a day booked especially for our jumpers – Sunday 26 March 2023, so pop the date into your calendars and take the leap.

First time jumper specialists goskydive.com will organise all the logistics of your tandem skydive. To jump and make a difference you will need to pay a £50 registration fee (payable directly to GoSkydive) and commit to raising a minimum sponsorship of £450. It may sound like a lot of money, but we are confident with the right advice, guidance and a little support from family, friends, and colleagues it will be plain flying from take-off to landing!
