Office: Little River County Circuit Clerk. When I’m not working I’m: Making memories with my beautiful granddaughter, Rhiannon!

County I was born in: Little River

What I like most about my county: The lights on our beautiful courthouse! The accomplishments of which I am most proud: I’ve been married to Tom Billingsley for over 42 years.

The best thing about living in Arkansas:

It’s very rural, laid back. We have some of the most friendly people. The hardest thing I have ever done is: Losing a child.

I got started in county government because: I was looking for a career opportunity for my future. I worked in the Little

River County Collector’s office and have over 30 years of bookkeeping experience. The circuit clerk position came open, and I jumped at the opportunity with excitement. I have now served for four terms, and I am looking forward to working until retirement.

If I wasn’t a county treasurer/collector, I’d be: At home working in my flower beds, swimming in my swimming pool, taking oil painting lessons and Andrea Billingsley, Little River County working on my Bucket List. You might be surprised to learn that: I am terrified of birds! My pet peeve is: “Passing the Buck.”
