How to enroll as a new hire and at Open Enrollment

• Review this guide to explore all your options • Compare these options with others available to you, such as coverage through a spouse or partner’s employer • Gather the following: – Social Security numbers and birthdates for any family members you’re adding – Proof of dependent eligibility documents, such as a marriage certificate for a spouse or birth certificates for children

When ready: log on to myaspenbenefits.com

First-time users:

Register to set up your user ID and password

Registered users:

• Go to the “Enrolling in your Benefits” page • Click on the waving flag • Follow the prompts to make your elections • On each page, click Next or Save Election to move on • When you’re finished, you’ll see the confirmation page

Important: Your enrollment isn’t complete and recorded until you save and accept your elections and see the confirmation page.

After you enroll

• Review your confirmation summary—ensure it’s correct • Call the Benefit Service Center immediately if you see errors • Review your paycheck for accuracy

Your enrollment isn’t complete if you don’t see the confirmation page.

Make note

If you’re considering an HSA or FSA, be sure you enroll in the right one for you. There are different options to fit specific needs. See pages 11 and 14 for details.

Will you get ID cards?

If you’re new to the plans—yes, new cards will come in the mail to you.

If you’re currently in coverage—you’ll only receive new cards if you change coverage or your current card expires.
