Updates from National Convention!

In July 2022, Members from across the country came together in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX to celebrate Sisterhood and to get things done! Here is a look at some of the work approved by the Delegation:

- Working towards more inclusive language by replacing the historical terms " Colony/Colonization" with " Petitioning Group/Establishment" and by removing gendered language from all National Documents.

- Codifying the Infinity Chapter and Treasuring Ceremonies, including a new ceremonial item- Creating a Technical Major Expansion spreadsheet to simplify the process

- Sending important organizational development tasks, including: investigation of facility corporation creation, researching chapter management software, developing trademark licensing policy and planning for emergency response, to new and established committees.

- Accepting a new slate of Leadership Consultants for 2022-2023.

- Electing Audrey Heuser as National Director of Finance, Emma Bachman as National Director of Operations and Ally DiCarlo as National Director of Communications, set to take office January 1, 2023.

- Restructuring the National Board of Directors by adding the two new positions of NDoC and NDoM (effective immediately) and replacing the role of National Director of Administration with an Executive Director (at the end of the current NDoA term).

New National Director Positions

Two new National Board of Director positions were ratified at Convention in July. The Board is expanding, which means special elections!

The National Director of Communications (NDoC) oversees internal and external communication for the Organization.

The National Director of Membership's (NDoM) duties include: Overseeing Membership development and retention, Coordinating virtual Professional Development workshops for both Active and Alumnae Members, Assisting with and serving as the primary point of contact for new Alumnae Chapters
