CCHC is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and a California Non-Profit Public Benefit Corporation that operates and administers six community health centers in Glendale, Eagle Rock, Highland Park, Sunland, North Hollywood and Arleta. The center provides medical, dental, and behavioral health services to diverse and underserved communities regardless of immigration status. Established in 1990, CCHC has grown to become one of the leading FQHCs in Los Angeles County. This year’s NHCW theme “The Roadmap to Stronger America” - takes us on a virtual road trip across America, highlighting the achievements and amazing work being done at community health center. Let’s celebrate the uniqueness of our community and highlight the commitment and passion of CCHC together with our community partners and supporters who make it possible to provide quality, comprehensive healthcare services to all our patients and their families in the community.
The timing of NHCWChildren’s Appreciation Day also lends itself well to engaging the youngest members of our communities as they prepare to return to school.
The community participation in this meaningful activity would greatly advance our goal of raising awareness for America’s health centers over the past five decades, said Pedro Ramirez, CCHC Director of Outreach and Community Engagement.

CCHC will be distributing Back -to- School backpacks for 1000 children patients and underserved children from our school partners across Los Angeles Unified School District and Glendale Unified School District.
