Fundamentals of photography is an eight (8) week course designed to teach the basics of photography for students who are new to photography. Students who use a DSLR (digital single lens reflex) camera will get the most out of this course. The course covers camera basics and functions, elements of exposure and exposure modes, light, color, composition and a photographic work flow. Each week will explore one aspect of photography including both the technical aspects and the creative aspects of this art form with the goal of these classes being the ability of each student to create stronger, more compelling images. Each class will have an assignment to be completed by the student. Each session will begin with a review of the student’s images from the previous week’s assignment. Students will need to bring their camera along with their camera’s manual to each class and material to take notes. Some handouts will be provided.

WE ARE EXCITED TO OFFER YOU A VARIETY OF ARTISTIC OPPORTUNITIES.
