LADY
You never cared about me. You never loved me. You were there to use me. You lied to me.

You told me you were going out with your friends. You didn’t come back until I came looking for you. Lady, white as snow.
Please don’t be angry at me. Please take me home. I’ll make you feel better. I promise you.

MY FUCKED-UP FATHER
I didn’t like him. I didn’t love him.
He was a cook on a ship. He was cheap with me. But quick to spend his money on other women, as well as my mother.
I was very angry at him. He was a womanizer. He took advantage of my mother, as well as other women.
He was a rolling stone. A fucked-up one at that. I couldn’t stand him.
He had the nerve to always ask me: am I living up to my expectations?
