Minecraft

Minecraft is a game for computers, mobiles and consoles. The game is made by Mojang and was released in 2011.

First, you gather wood and rocks to build different objects. Then you craft items like weapons and tools. It is important to build a house because you need a place to stay when night falls and the creepers come out. When I play, I use English because all the objects in the game have English names. If I play with my friends, I speak Norwegian.

You don’t score points in Minecraft, but when you smash blocks, you get more.

The game is for everyone. Some people like to build castles or copies of famous buildings. Others like to fight monsters. You can choose between different modes like creative or survival. Beginners usually start in creative mode to learn the game. Then they move on to survival or other modes.

I like the game because I can build whatever I want. My dad and I are currently building a copy of Wembley stadium in London. I have also taken part in events, like the 17 May Parade on Minecraft in 2021.
