REPORT ON KITCHEN ACCIDENT

To: Principal Mary Tangen From: Students in restaurant and food processing class 1B Date: November 9, 2019 Date: When you write it

Subject: Accident in the school kitchen Subject: An informative heading Introduction: The incident took place at Ringsaker upper secondary school on November 8, 2019. A group of four students made dinner in the school kitchen in classes from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The accident happened around 11:30 a.m. Main part: For Friday dinner we were making traditional English fish and chips. To do this we had to fry potatoes and fish in hot oil. A student from another group ran past us with a broom in her hand to tidy up something she had spilled on the floor. She stumbled and knocked down our boiler of hot oil. One student in our group was working at the counter next to the boiler and got hot oil on her left arm and both legs. She suffered a bad burn and had to go to the hospital. Conclusion: To make sure this does not happen again, we recommend a no-run rule in the kitchen. We also recommend that the school buy a fryer so we do not have to fry in ordinary pots and pans. Vurderingseksemplar From: Siri Johnson, on behalf of the classFrom: A formal closing
