CASE STUDY Stydd Hall, Ashbourne Project completed: 2017 English Heritage and Historic England grant funded Architect: E.B. McEvedy Historic Building Consultants

The Brief Substantial repairs to a Grade II* listed dwelling (Stydd Hall was a monastery of the military orders of knights, Templars and knights hospitalliers) which were undertaken in three stages whilst the clients were in residence. Phase 1: re-roof and high-level joinery and masonry repairs. Phase 2: repairs to the tower, including lead and masonry works. Phase 3: timber restoration and additional masonry works to the external historic fabric.

Awards Historic England showcased the works and it was covered by BBC News.
