Christ
Jesus was a person who reflected the Light of Christ. He reflected our actual being whilst the Christ, and the most a body can ever be, is just a reflection of the mind.
Once the mind becomes pure and unified, it recognizes Itself whilst the Mind of Christ. When that Divine Mind is reflected in a body, you've a reflection of this, but a reflection isn't actuality. Christ is just a Light that is ahead of time.
How Can We Be Reborn In the Light of Christ Within?
We've to avoid protecting the crumbling ego self-concept, and expose and release the shame that is hidden in the mind. When you yourself have been judged as a failure, it's simple to say, “Well, I failed previously for sure. a course in miracles I was a failure previously, however it isn't me. That is not me. I'm alive. I'm reborn again in Christ. I'm fresh and clean and clear in this moment, and I have nothing regarding the self concept.”
Forgiveness we can stop protecting the crumbling image that the ego made of us.
Whenever we are reborn in the Light of Christ, once we give all our relationships and everything of time and space to the Holy Spirit for His purpose, everything changes.
David: “That's the way my life has been. My experience of the dream of life has fundamentally shifted because my purpose shifted for me. It's for all of us. It can't be only for this 1 or any particular one, because God doesn't have ‘chosen ones.' ”
Each is called, and the Course says that few choose to listen. Are you going to be pleased with that metaphor of “few choose to listen”? Who's surely got to listen? I've surely got to listen. I've surely got to follow. I've surely got to be usually the one! I've surely got to be one that steps up, and says, “I will answer the Call.” Like Neo in The Matrix became The One.
Jesus wants us to go by the images of the world and to choose the Light. His goal is to take us in to the vision of Christ, that is non-perceptual, to be reborn and feel anew, fresh, and alive. He wants us to be that reflection of the Light of Christ that is shining radiantly within!
