TABLE OF CONTENT S Introduction 4-5 Top 5 6-25 Top 10 28-47 Top 15 48-55

Your General Attitude My general attitude towards things is amplified by my passion for things. I care about what interests me. I feel as if a lot of people’s motives are drawn from wrong intentions. Therefore my intentions must be always good and real. I believe that you can achieve anything through a certain persistence of perseverance. If you like it you can achieve it. If you like doing something you can do it. I also believe that everyone is a product of their environment and are nurtured through that environment. Where you’re born and where you go to school. Every factor does really matter. Mainly the reason why I entered graphic design was the passion to create things. I love to create, my passion to create was always there but growing up in a math and literature based family it was very hard to break out of the mold. My Father whom was a math teacher for 35+ years always persisted on math, my uncle; a blind poet, my brother ; electrical engineering at McGill. You could say I’ve always been the one that went against the grain in the family. The music I listen to or the clothing I wear is very different than anyone in my family.

Your Cultural Background Raised in a Lebanese Christian environment, I came to the terms that I must be very conservative attitude towards life. Lebanese usually tend to base their beliefs on their kids and don’t really let kids discover their dreams and ideas. Some say Lebanese people are very open minded but living with such a conservative family, I would have to disagree.

Your ethics or what is important to you Honesty is the biggest importance to me. I believe I am very skilled with seeing through people’s lies and truths and discovering things about people that not many other see. I think being you is a big thing in my opinion. Everyone is so jaded with the idea of being someone they are not. A lot of this is fostered through the internet. Everyone is looking for the romanticized version of themselves. I think it’s quite normal because people are always looking for themselves anyway. I believe that it is important to always stay true to yourself and never sway from what makes you, you. 6 |

Your strong points and your weaknesses

Education

Right off the top of my head I believe my strongest points about myself is that I am quite direct when I give my opinion. I also believe that I tend to ask a lot of questions that can be either advantageous or not. I like to ask questions, I don’t like to have any stone unturned. I also believe I am a fast learner which ties with asking questions. When I really want to learn something I do it. I ask all the right questions to understand a task properly.

Laurier Senior High School 2008-2013 Dawson College 2013-2016

Your capacity to work with others My capacity to work with other is really outstanding. I love working and collaborating on projects. When there are multiple minds working together I feel as if we can come to outstanding resolutions

Your achievements None that I can say I’m proud of.

Your knowledge about the profession Graphic Design is visual communication, the objective of graphic designer in the sphere of communications is to deliver a given message. If it’s their own message they are actually being an author. It is about helping deliver someone else’s message

Your career goals Influence/Change people’s lives.

Your work experience Mourelatos Grocery Store April 2014- May 2015 Tonitex Fabric Wholesaler August 2015-

PETER Born 9 October 1955 Manchester, England

Peter Saville is a graphic designer who lives in a zeitgeist of art and design. He has created a series of phenomenal works and imagery throughout his career that range from album sleeves to fashion to art direction. From working with the likes of Joy Divison then New order to famous fashion designer Raf Simons and all the way to designing the kit for the England national team. Peter Saville inspires me because he started off in graphic design and used the medium of graphics to develop his love for other things. He also inspires me because he refers to himself as unemployable which I absolutely think is amazing

DIETER May 20, 1932 Wiesbaden, Germany

Dieter rams is a minimalist designer that has created many works that can resonate with anything today. His mass amounts of publicity came from his work with Braun in the area of product design. His work has carried out in the new generation of technology and has inspired many brands and designers. His earlier work is compared to apple’s current products. I think of him as a founding father to modern design. I think it’s amazing how his work can not only create meaning in his time but also create timeless products that reverberate with today’s society. His 10 principles of design also inspire me to use in my day to day life. I am also intrigued that his design was not only centered in one domain but carried towards furniture design through Vitsœ

TOM July 26, 1966 New York, United States

His work addresses a wide range of issues including appropriation, branding, consumerism, globalization, entertainment and functionality. He first became known for making guns out of urban detritus and store-bought hardware. Then he became better known for branding his own constructions with the logos of luxury fashion houses like Prada, Chanel and Hermès. He worked with nike and created a very memorable sneaker that is valued within sneaker community. He inspired me mainly from his DIY type artistic point of view. Concept and juxtaposition, the source of using nothing to make works of art. He is a survivalist if some may say which I vibe with.

GEORGE June 26, 1931, New York, United States An art director, Designer whatever you want to call him he’s one of the greatest to ever grace the design world. He worked in the advertising industry working for big names such as tommy Hilfiger, Mtv, Xerox etc. What he’s best known for is his covers for Esquire Magazine. He is linked greatly to one of the most prominent communication consultants of all time. I think Lois is one of my favorites because he just gets it. He has something that no one else had/has. He sees things that no else can. He’s a risk taker which I absolutely adore. I aspire to be as direct and straight forward as he is.

VIRGIL September 30th,1980 Chicago Massachusetts Virgil Abloh, Kanye West’s creative director is a very influential man of today’s pop culture. He is a clothing designer, DJ, Creative Director, artist. He owns his own clothing line called Off-White which is said to be a bridge between street wear and high fashion while still cooperating a certain iconic silhouette. It is recognizable for a recurring motif of parallel white lines, much like those in a city crosswalk. He is behind the scenes and is always contributing to anything with the range of culture. He also owns his own store in his home town of Chicago called RSVP Gallery. Virgil is one of the most influential men of today’s culture. His brand online presence is something that bewilders me. In one interview it states that “he studied architecture and engineering, he spent 50 percent of his time working and the other 50 percent throwing parties and putting on club nights—something that he felt passionate about. That taught him how to multitask, which means he can now work on six projects at a time, giving each the same amount of his attention.” This really inspires me.
