Why a new version? In recent years we have seen an increase in smartphones and tablets sales all over the world. In 2013, 1.800 million phones were sold, of which 53.6% (967.8 million) were smartphones. Besides, 315.9 million PCs were sold, 10% less than in 2012.* Today 28% of visits to iGlobal are made via smartphones and tablets. Mobile users are growing faster than desktop users. Considering these trends we have decided to develop a new mobile website, that is an improvement from the previous version. Agile, useful and comfortable, our new mobile website will offer users an incredible experience!
What’s next: iGlobalApp We are currently working intensively on the development of iGlobal native applications, in order to be able to release a first beta version in late April this year. Mobile apps will present a better performance than any other version. This will be possible because of usage of native technologies, specially designed and optimized for mobile operating systems. Besides, searches will be improved in order to give results close to user’s locations, taking advantage of geolocation data provided by the mobile devices. Thus, we seek to develop an intuitive and fast application, where users will find company’s information in simple steps.
