Evil can never be overcome with more evil, it can only be overcome by GOOD. You must forgive others not just to be a good person (which you should be) but because forgiveness can be a direct benefit to you. This is a basic Law of the Universe The real key to helping others, as well as yourself, is to understand that whatever you do for others, will return to you, many times over. Dr. Deepak Chopra, in The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success says: “The more you give; the more you will receive, because you will keep the abundance of the Universe circulating in your life. Anything that is of value in life only multiplies when it is given. That which doesn’t multiply through giving is neither worth giving nor worth receiving. If through the act of giving, you feel that you have lost something, then the gift is not truly given and will not cause increase.” The incredible thing is when you spend money for your benefit it gets depleted, but when you expend your love, compassion, wisdom, time, and creativity, it is not diminished. Chopra, further tells us we discover service and dedication to others through asking the questions, “How can I help?” Instead of, “What’s in it for me?” He says, “The question, “What’s in it for me?” Is the internal dialogue of the ego? Asking “How can I help?” Is the internal dialogue of the spirit? The spirit is that domain of your awareness where you experience your universality.” Like the butterfly in China that flaps its wings and causes a storm two days later in the Gulf of Mexico, small caring human acts can have enormous consequences for the world. Louise Hay in Heart Thoughts says: “We have so much love in this world, and we have so much love in our hearts, but sometimes we forget. Sometimes we think there isn’t enough, or there is just a small amount. So we hoard what we have, or we are afraid to let it go. But, those of us who are willing to learn, realize that the more love we allow to flow from us, the more
