nterpretation of the term âurbanicaâ in the vocabulary of the artist Amir Chodorov links to a different and additional aspect of his artistic creation since He strives to achieve originality and uniqueness. âAstist man paints with his brains, not with his hands.â Michelangelo. Amir went deep inside the renaissance artist and their methods, especially the âFrescoâ technic that enabled them to create artworks like in the Sistine Chapel ceiling in Rome. Itâs taken him almost 40 years to develop it to create unusual artworks that build up from 100 -600 pics. His photographs invoke in the observer astonishment mixed with optimism, a limitless identification with him. In his unique working method, Amir narrates using exact frames,
illuminated and unique, just as creators of cartoons achieve three-dimensional wholeness. Chodorov brings us the contemporary influence of the digital world, and his creations wave from pixels that our eyes never tierd of seeing. Furthermore, his artwork emphasizes the victory of the spirit, inspiration, and beams of light he found within himself. Amir has succeeded in intensifying the insignificance of the individual, harking back to the Romantic artistic trend in the 17th century, which stressed the smallness of man compared to the mightiness of God and his Creation. But whereas in the concept of romanticism, man is aware of his vulnerability and looks with amazement at the details that compose our colorful environment with no boundaries.
