Sleep and wake up at the same time every day. Work out regularly. Have dinner at least 2-3 hours before you go to bed. Don`t have caffeinated drinks such as tea, coffee or coke for at least 3 hours before sleeping. A glass of warm milk or a shower before bedtime will make sleep easier. Do not keep any electronic devices in your bedroom such as mobile phones, televisions, or computers. Set the temperature of your bedroom between 18-21°C. Make sure your bedroom is noiseless, dark and tidy. Use an orthopedic bed and pillow that is not too hard or soft. Lay on your right side as often as possible. Sleeping face-down or on your back can have respiratory or circulatory complications. Instead of a mobile phone, use battery-powered clocks for your wake-up alarm. In addition; nasal obstruction, sinusitis, sleep apnea, allergies, excessive weight, thyroid, heart and rheumatic diseases can also disturb your sleep period. So make sure to have general health checks-ups for the best sleep possible.
