Preserve your floral arrangements for longer Here are some suggestions for your DIY wedding flowers to stay fresh

FRESH WATER

The first two days to keep your flower arrangement is critical to keep it fresh and alive. You should fill up the vase with water twice a day (morning and afternoon) trying to change the water once a day complete. If you add a couple of ice cubes, cold water will do better preserve your flowers.

LOCATION

Avoid placing the floral directly to sunlight (or bright light) and where there are air drafts. It should be in a cool place in the house to last longer. If you spend several hours outside the home, place the flowers in a place that is safe, avoids placing flowers near fruits, as they give off a gas that would accelerate the maturation of the flowers.

TYPES OF ARRANGEMENTS

The floral arrangements are presented in different ways and care may vary upon the container that holds the arrangement. To change the water armed arrangements in an oasis (green foam), you must flip the array and fill it with water right away. This type of arrangement is somewhat stiff, so you need not fear of losing its shape. The wire mesh arrangements (such as roses) are placed under running water to remove dirty water and replace with clean water.

* Uses a clean vase and water should be cool

* Before placing the fresh cut flowers in the vase, remove the leaves from the stem to the level that briefly immersed in water

* Cut the stems diagonally as about 3 cm

* Do not expose the flowers to direct sunlight or drafts

* Change the water in the vase every two days and cut the stems a little each time you change the water

* Maintain flowers fruits far as proximity accelerates maturing of flowers.
