Introduction A
ntonio’s newest collection of abstract/figurative paintings is an explosion of colours and forms. This is a visualization of the artist's deepest thougths and emotions, a surreal journey in the oneiric. The artwork is produced in acrylic, oil and gold paint on canvas/wood.
A
ntonio Maggi was Born in Bergamo (Italy) in 1968 and studied Fine Art at the School of Fine Arts of Brera in Milan (Italy), graduating in 1992. He has studied and worked with different media: painting, photography, printmaking, cartoons, graphic design, and has been involved in many art projects in England, Croatia, Holland and Italy. Between 1990/92 in Milan, Antonio was involved in the House of Artists as an Art Assistant, his final thesis was about the Art of Milan in the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s in collaboration with Lisa Ponti. At present he is working as a Painter, Graphic Designer and photographer in London.
