Begin your planning process by familiarizing yourself with the module’s story. Use the following guide to help you review the module as a whole.

Read the Before This Module and After This Module sections in the Overview to understand the coherence between modules.
Guiding Questions
• What big ideas does the module teach? • How do the topic titles relate to the module title?
What does that tell me about how the concepts are organized? • Which strategies, models, and language will my students use?
• What concepts, skills, and language can I expect my students to bring to the new learning? • How does the work of this module support learning in future modules?
