CAT FOR ADOPTION
BLACKIE Through the Artemis Project, my husband Francois and I are fostering Blackie while searching for a permanent home for her. She is female, 3 years old, spayed, and up-to-date with all shots. You can see Blackie on facebook at the Artemis Project. Obviously, she is entirely black, with very shiny fur and yellow-green eyes. She is smart, wellbehaved and gentle. Also, affectionate, as well as beautiful. Until recently, she lived in a 2-cat situation and was dominated by a big Maine Coon. Since Fluffy (ex-Lola,now renamed Kugela) has moved to a new home, Blackie (feel free to rename her) has flourished; she is clearly more confident, playful, happy and attentive. Their owner fell gravely ill, in hospital in California. She cannot envision taking Blackie back, sadly. So, before Blackie gets completely ensconced in our apartment, we need to find a happy onecat home for her. As I retire at the end of December, we will be traveling and living in Europe for months at a time, so cannot have permanent pets, again, sadly.
