Una intervención que está repleta de sutilezas y donde la mujer tiene un rol central. En la serie Circunvalación del olvido vemos cómo elegantes, delicadas y románticas figuras femeninas deambulan sutilmente con vaporosas vestimentas por espacios prácticamente convertidos en no-lugares. Sitios olvidados que funcionan por sí solos como una reivindicación de la memoria, pero que también retoman vida gracias a siluetas que, llenas de luz y movimiento, vuelven a echar a andar el reloj detenido que había en cada uno de sus rincones. La serie fue realizada en dos etapas. La primera estuvo enfocada en lo arquitectónico, trabajando los espacios en torno a los conceptos de cercanía e intimidad y la creación de atmósferas. “Como una exploración desde adentro hacia afuera”, explica la artista. “La segunda parte fue pensada para un videoarte, sumando la presencia de las figuras de una manera intencionada y tratando de componer secuencias como un cuadro, trazando un juego de fantasía y memoria e intentando recrear nuevos espacios, que de alguna manera vuelvan a tener vida”, complementa. Es esto último lo que dota a las imágenes de un aura casi teatral, donde luz, color y movimiento se unen para crear una estética claramente intencionada. Olvido v/s memoria Las fotografías de la serie Circunvalación del olvido son una invitación a revivir simbólicamente espacios de nuestro pasado, recordando antiguos momentos de gloria y contrastarlos con nuestro presente. La artista, más que evitar el olvido y negarse a que hayan elementos que queden fuera de la memoria, llama al espectador a tomarse el tiempo de estar frente a las cosas y dejar que

In the series Circunvalación del olvido (Encirclement of the oblivion) we see how elegant, delicate and romantic female figures roam subtly with billowing clothes virtually converted into non-places, spaces. This last thing is what provides the images of an almost theatrical aura, where light, color and motion get together to create a clearly deliberate aesthetic. Oblivion v/s memory The photographs of the series Circunvalación de olvido are an invitation to revive symbolically spaces of our past, recalling old moments of glory and compare them with our present.
