Lancé en 1921, le type CC est le premier cyclecar de la marque Amilcar et il contribuera nettement à développer sa solide réputation. En effet, ce modèle remportera de nombreux succès en compétition et l’orientation sportive de la marque deviendra alors inéluctable. L’exemplaire présenté est entré dans la collection Broual dans les années 1960. A l’exception des ailes « gouttière », il était complet. La carrosserie, tôlerie et structure en bois sont d’origine, elle a simplement été repeinte anciennement. Il s’agit de la version la plus enviable dotée d’une carrosserie à pointe Bordino et deux places décalées. La sellerie est en simili rouge, le tachymètre est manquant mais la plaque du

constructeur est présente sur le tableau de bord. Le pare-brise est d’origine Amilcar avec ses montants spécifiques. Comme souvent, les jantes à talons ont fait place à des jantes à tringles. L’essieu avant est armé de bois et des amortisseurs à friction améliorent la tenue de route. La plaque moteur porte le n° 8572, il s’agit d’un type C4 (1004cc), identique au type CS et qui remplace avantageusement le CC (954cc). Il est complet, équipé d’un démarreur, de la dynamo et tourne à la manivelle. Rarissimes sont les exemplaires encore équipés de cette carrosserie bi-place sport d’origine, il s’agit donc d’une opportunité à ne pas manquer pour les puristes.

Launched in 1921, the Type CC was the first cyclecar from Amilcar and it contributed significantly to developing its excellent reputation. Indeed, this model would win many races in competition and the sporting orientation of the marque would become inevitable. The car on offer entered the Broual collection in the 1960s. With the exception of the wings, it was complete. The bodywork, sheet metal and wooden structure are original, it just was repainted. plate is present on the dashboard. The windshield is original Amilcar with its specific uprights. The front axle was reinforced with wood and friction dampers improve the road handling. The engine plate bears the number 8572, it is a type C4 (1004cc), identical to the type CS and which replaced advantageously the DC (954cc). It is complete, equipped with a starter, a dynamo and the crank handle. It is very rare to find an example that is still equipped with this original two-seater sports body, so this is indeed an opportunity that mustn’t be missed by purists.
