La voiture que nous présentons n'a connu que trois propriétaires. Livrée neuve à Jack Barclay Ltd, à Londres, elle a été achetée par un certain M. Boyer qui, pour son premier voyage, est parti en vacances en Écosse. Il a ensuite fait venir la voiture chez lui, au New Jersey, aux États-Unis. Entre ses mains, la voiture a parcouru un peu plus de 100 000 km en 42 ans, tout en bénéficiant d'un entretien extrêmement soigné. Le second propriétaire, un collectionneur hollandais, a continué à apporter les mêmes soins à son automobile en la confiant au très réputé spécialiste Rolls-Royce Brabo, de Hillegom, aux Pays-Bas. Enfin, le dernier propriétaire en date faisait l'acquisition de la voiture en juin 2010 et c'est alors l'établissement Jeremy Padgett Motor Engineers, considéré comme un des meilleurs spécialistes Bentley, qui se chargeait du suivi de la voiture. Elle est accompagnée d'un dossier qui comporte : commande de l'usine et fiches de fabrication ; ordre de vente original de Jack Barclay ; correspondance avec l'usine ; catalogue de vente ; anciens titres d'immatriculation ; diverses factures. The car that we are offering has had just three owners from new. Delivered to Jack Barclay Ltd in London, it had been ordered by a certain Mr Boyer who, for his first trip in the car, set off on holiday to Scotland. He subsequently took the car home with him to New Jersey in the US. In his ownership, the car covered a little over 100 000 km in 42 years, and ensured that it was meticulously maintained. The second owner, a Dutch collector, continued to apply the same level of care, entrusting its maintenance to the renowned Rolls-Royce specialist Brabo, in Hillegom, Holland. The most recent owner acquired the car in 2010, and since that time it has been looked after by Jeremy Padgett Motor Engineers, considered to be one of the best Bentley specialists.
