La première fois que j’ai eu la chance de voir Georgy rider à Lyon, j’ai été choqué par son engagement sur un bike ! La peur ne faisant pas partie de son quotidien, ce jeune rider a su repousser ses limites et ainsi atteindre un niveau tout simplement incroyable en très peu de temps. Victime d’un lourd accident l’année dernière, Georgy ne s’est pas laissé enfermer par la crainte et très vite, il s’est remis à punir tout sur son passage. A la fois technique, aérien et muni d’une palette de tricks énorme, on ne se lasse pas de le voir évoluer. Quoi de plus logique que d’en savoir un peu plus sur un des meilleurs représentants français actuels !
The first time I got the chance to see Georgy riding in Lyon, I was chocked by the dedication he gives to his riding! Nothing scares this young rider who really learned how to push his limits and reach an incredible level in a short period of time. Seriously injured last year, Georgy didn’t let the fear take over his riding and quickly started to ride harder everything he could possibly find on his way. He is both technical, aerial and he owns a big range of tricks, we can’t get enough of looking at his improvements. In the nature of things we obviously wanted to know more about one of the best French rider of the moment!

If you were not riding, what would you be doing? I would be playing football but I don’t wanna talk about it.
Une journée typique de Georgy ? Le matin je me lève et le soir je me couche…
A random day with Georgy ? I wake up in the morning and I go to bed at night…
Ta vision de la vie après ton accident ? Rien à changer, le journal est toujours à 20h.
How did your injury changed your vision of life ? Nothing changed, the news are still broadcasted at 8 o’clock.
Qu’est-ce que le bmx représente à tes yeux ? Un petit vélo mais une passion avant tout.
What does the BMX means to you ? It’s a small bike but a big hobby.
Après le ride, comment te vois-tu plus tard, des projets d’avenir ? Plein mais aucun de fiable.
Any project after you’ll be done riding BMX ? Loads but none of them are realistic.
Le bmx dans 10 ans selon toi ? On aura tous une veste avec no sponsor dessus et ça ressemblera plus à du ski acrobatique.
How is BMX going to be in 10 years ? We’ll all have a jacket with all our sponsors logos on it and it will probably look like freestyle skiing.
Prochaines cascades, tricks …? Après triple flip, pourquoi pas quadruple flip.
Next up-coming trick, stunt? I did triple flip. So why not doing a quadruple.
