Art and artisans are an assembly of individual artists who provide a platform for emerging artists and support the spread of art knowledge in India. We propose to do our part by: -Hold online talks, written interviews and webinars related to the arts. -Give emerging artists a platform to display their works and give us an inside into their art practice. -Host online global art competition for people across all ages, races and art forms. -Train youngsters to help and recognise the importance of the arts and crafts. -Help people with no artistic background or platform to have a voice. -Hold partnerships with various groups helping artisans especially across India to help spread local handicrafts and the importance of keeping traditional handmade crafts alive. -Spread art knowledge across our social media platforms.

What if she receives a letter infused with your perfume sealed in wax, what if she opens it and sees the love that is so clearly painted between the lines, what if reading that makes her heart melt, makes fire run down her skin, what if it seeps into her soul and unleashes her love, setting it free. What if she feels all this and wonders, “Wait, does she really like me Or does she just like me?”

SH AD OW ON A W H ITE W ALL Shadow on a White Wall What is it that encloses the Shadow on a white wall? Darkness, shade or The wall? Oh silly, just play of light It is, they say. Yes, But that’s the margin Of language I say. Nothing said or written Ever matter, except What is. Is what I see, what You see and what You see, what I see? Is my black as black As yours and my white As white as yours? Alas, isn’t language a Mad-made construct. Then how can I ever really say What I want to say? Isn’t that why all create To say what they Really want to say, With a silent experience - Evoking all senses, yet again Can’t be put in words. Ha, what a paradox I say And yet, I type it down. As this is a creation too, With lines stitched On my black mirror, Gazing at that shadow On a white wall.

THE DESK
We talked, both of us, and the desk stood in-between. Words from a side were shoved across, while the ones in response choked, limped to reach the other. Hands on the desk made gestures, reached out to far ends like the wind on a wild day, picked things up and put down. The desk was thin when he spoke, but gained elephant weight when it was my turn and the hands lay crushed below.
