Marc Esteve (b. 1971) Born in Alicante, Esteve entered the Faculty of Fine Arts in Valencia in 1997, following his school education. In 2001, after completing his University education, Esteve returned to his hometown to draw inspiration from the beautiful light and sea. He has exhibited his works in numerous Mediterranean exhibitions and three solo shows in Valencia, Alicante and Crevillente. Esteve’s work can be found in many international private collections including collections in Spain, England, Russia and is part of the Royal Collection at the Palace in Saudi Arabia. Esteve is considered one of the greatest Hyperrealist artists of this century. He creates ‘real moments’ on his canvases with his graceful highly detailed technique, incredible attention to detail, the ever-present stunning ocean and its changing light. Esteve fully understands how to grasp the feel of brightness and shadows in his work. 3
