La Torre Ponsa La Torre Ponsa is a catalan rural house (masia) located in Riudellots de la Selva, Girona, Spain, buildt in the XVI century. It is a typical masia with 27 acres, located in a beautiful and quiet spot surrounded by farms and Mediterranean forests in La Selva region.

Its location is outstanding. The town of Girona, the province capital, is at 11kms North, with an easy access via the AP7 motorway and a national road; also via the AP7 or by train, at 88 km South is Barcelona; to the East we have the famous Costa Brava. The Barcelona North airport (Girona), with good connections with many European airports is at 5Km.

Of special interest are the Jew’s quarter (Call Jueu), the gothic cathedral and its museum with the tapestry of The Creation, the Arabic baths, and a walk by the river. The tour may have a fascinating end in the restaurant Celler de Can Roca. http://www.cellercanroca.com BARCELONA It is difficult to select something in Barcelona.
