A basto Multi-Media Library .

The Provincial Multi-Media Library of Cordoba is located in a post-industrial abandoned land on the periphery of Cordobas city center, Argentina, next to the Suquia river. Under the urgent need of a public space that allows the recovery of the river, reduces insecurity, allows social interaction, and connects the neighborhood with the city, a building is proposed. A large perforated raised volume supported by a structural system of “pratt” truss, generates a large building a for community meetings, learning, and entertainment. At the street level, a covered plaza hosts spontaneous social activities, and inside a central ramp distributes the user through the different educational, recreational and cultural levels.

Pratt truss made up of three metal beams I 600mm, welded and bolted.

Ventilated facade, composed of double laminated glass, 70cm air chamber, welded to Pratt beam by means of metal tubes.
