COMMUNITY BOARD The Around Woodstock Community Board consists of well-respected community leaders, from different walks of life. Our Board assists us in many ways including contributing to our magazine, judging our annual Trailblazer award and providing valuable feedback. Beth Hermes — Beth is a graduate of Auburn University’s School of Journalism, and a professional writer for more than 26 years. Her work has appeared in magazines, newspapers and online publications. Suzanne Litrel — Suzanne is a Young Adult historical fiction author and doctoral student in GSU’s graduate history program. From 1998 - 2012, she served as an award-winning IB/AP World History and Economics teacher on Long Island, New York. Ross Wiseman — Ross is a father of four, the husband of one, and a pastor and friend to many. He has served as the founding and current pastor of Momentum Church since 2005. The joys and struggles of over 21 years of ministry and 19 years of marriage have given Ross a broad perspective of the human condition. AroundWoodstock, a publication of AroundAbout Local Media, Inc., is a monthly community magazine. It distributes a total of 16,000 free copies. Approximately 15,200 are direct mailed to homes and businesses and an additional 800 are placed in racks around the community.
