The particularity of the plot is that three roads are surrounding
it, one of which is further down. Therefore, the building
is made of two blocks linked by a walkway to create an
entrance on each way. As a consequence, the construction
interacts with them.
Each block contains a different part of the program. Inside the
bigger one, there are the students rooms, inside the other, the
studios. Regarding the walkway, it could be used as a collective
living room for all tenants. The transparency of the entrances
engages in double dealing. In fact, from the streets,
we can glimpse the tree in the courtyard and vice versa. Moreover,
surrounded by the two blocks and the walkway, the
courtyard permit a link with the sky.
