ASLI is an acronym of Atmosphere, Shadow, Landscape and Inclination, the four elements which helped me to design, and it means «pure» in indonesian. For my frist project at Chalmers, I dealt with hybrid architecture. To help me in design, I chose two parameters: shadow and inclination. Then, I did a mapping of my parameters study, It was the starting point of the design. This mapping gave me some areas. I just extracted, splited, bended and joined them to have such like a platform along the slope. Afterwards, I managed to place the program of my culture center along the platform by playing with the structure. Finally, I integrated my building in the nature around by designing a landscape all the way up the platform.
