hen it comes to a long-distance relationship, being apart is the worst part. You can’t hug or kiss and do the couple stuff all the time but, as the saying goes, absence makes the heart grow fonder. Whether you live in separate houses, cities or even countries, the same relationship virtues and values apply. Be caring, compromising, committed and communicative. You will eventually be able to see each other in person, but being able to interact at a distance is important in keeping a strong bond. A few things you might want to consider doing together, no matter how many miles apart, is to play online games together, watch movies or documentaries at the same time or even shop online together – there really is no limit. There is an application for your smart phone called RAVE. This apple app allows you and anyone across the globe to easily simultaniously watch films together on platforms like YouTube and Netflix. You’ll be able to text and talk while you watch and feel as if your best friend was sitting directly in front of you. Ultimately, make sure you both have the same goal long term. Long-distance relations aren’t great for brief relationships. They can be expensive, mentally exhausting and worrisome. But if you have someone you want to eventually be with for the rest of your life, then hold on to them and work as a team to make your goal come true. Six months might seem like a long time, but the 60 years that follow will be totally worth it.
