Let's Talk About Hair

Page 1

My life has been one long battle against my wild curly hair. Some days I just don’t know what to do.

BABY CURLS:

BANANA CURLS:

Straight out the womb.

Shiny and perfect. It’s all downhill from here.

DISCOVERY OF HAIR GEL:

THAT TIME I GOT BANGS:

Overenthusiastic and lacking proper directions on how to use it.

The hair dresser tried to fight it... and rightfully so.

THE TRIANGLE:

THE LOW PONY:

I still resent my mother for this.

Complete avoidance of the fact that I have hair. I looked like a boy.

OBSESSIVELY STRAIGHTENED:

THE LAZY BRAID:

The bottom four inches were destroyed. But it looked so nice!

Kept this way, untouched, for days at a time. I often forget to look in the mirror.

I’v ever

ve tried rything.

SO I WENT TO SEEK OUT AN EXPERT.

Hair defines people...

...and even decades.

Quit trying to achieve that silky, shiny, Pantene commercial hair. Natural hair is much cooler.

But perhaps the best advice of all...

ENJOY YOUR HAIR WHILE YOU’VE STILL GOT IT.
