Brownies
The Brownies are looking forward to returning after the summer and will be ready to welcome new friends. Last term we made the most of the outdoors, learning lots of Guiding skills like map reading, fire lighting and putting up tents. We also did our aviation badge; learned how planes fly, had a visit from a pilot, made and flew our own kites, and visited the Shuttleworth Collection. Brownies offers girls (aged 7 to 10) exciting opportunities to try new things, take on challenges, discover their potential, make brilliant friends and above all have fun! Arlesey have had a Brownie group for many, many years and we absolutely love being able to offer this fun and exciting opportunity in the village for young people.
We are always looking for people to help us run our group - if you are interested then please do get in touch. If you’d like to join us (or put your name on the waiting list if you’re not quite 7) then register at www.girlguiding.org.uk/joinus, or email us at arlesey.brownies@hotmail.co.uk.
