News from Gothic Mede Lower School

As we approach the end of a busy Summer term and academic year we have seen our children stepping up for a day to experience their new classes and meeting their new teachers. A buzz of excitement was in the air here at Gothic Mede during this day. Our Year 4 pupils had a great day of transition at their next school preparing all for their next steps in September.

What a wonderful day we had for Sports Day. A field full of pupils and their families supporting them for Sports Day. We are so proud of all the children and their amazing efforts on the day. Well done to Hiz Team who took the trophy this time, but Purwell, Pix and Ivel teams also did fantastically well.

What a wonderful year it has been - a full school year of familiarity, routine and having everyone back together. Seeing children go on school trips, participate in sports events with our local schools and seeing our children in the playground mixing has been wonderful.

We would like to wish our Year 4’s all the best at their new school. We know you are going to be amazing!

We also look forward to welcoming our new pupils in September.
