We know that our dedicated employees are responsible for forging the relationships that make our hometown banks and communities successful. We would like to recognize those individuals who are celebrating their 40-year and 50-year anniversaries of service in our banks by honoring them with “Milestones in Banking” awards, sponsored by BKD. The honorees will receive their awards at a luncheon during the Annual Convention on Tuesday, April 11, and will be further recognized in a feature in The Arkansas Banker magazine. Nominations are currently being sought for “Milestone Bankers.” All nominees should be actively employed in an Arkansas bank, and be eligible to receive specific milestone awards at 40+ and 50+ years of service, as long as they have not previously been recognized for that milestone. Nomination forms can be accessed online at www.arkbankers.org or by contacting Traci Logsdon at traci.logsdon@arkbankers.org or 501.978.3603. Nomination forms must be received by Friday, March 4, 2017. SIMMONS BANK PROMOTES REGGIE ROSE TO VP
Reggie Rose has been named vice president of community banking for Simmons Bank in Conway. Rose has been the general manager of Centennial Country Club at Conway since the club was established in 1998. In that role, he structured programs and implemented numerous capital improvements. Rose worked closely with club committees and property owner associations on various issues. He developed strong relationships with hundreds of people in the Conway area. Rose, who graduated with a degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas, has been active in civic activities in Conway. He’s the current chairman of the Conway Advertising and Promotions Commission and the co-chairman of the Community Impact Committee for the United Way of Central Arkansas. “Reggie’s long track record in this city should help us as we continue to build relationships with new and existing Simmons customers,” said Jason Culpepper, the bank’s north central Arkansas community president.
