Why Attend GSB?
John Anderson Assistant Vice President of Commercial Loans Relyance Bank, Pine Bluff
2014 Graduate School of Banking at LSU Scholarship Winner
“There has been tremendous value in attending a Graduate School of Banking. The two most prominent to me have to be the contacts made and well-rounded knowledge. The friends you make become great business contacts for you in the future to discuss banking issues with. I work in the Accounting department for our bank, and SWGSB has helped to give me a better understanding of the whole bank and what others within the bank do.”
Christy Malahy Assistant Vice President, Accounting Farmers & Merchants Bank, Stuttgart
2014 SWGSB Millennium Scholarship Winner
“The best part of the GSB program are the relationships that you build. The courses are very challenging, but the relationships are priceless. Everyone comes together and helps one another — throughout the year we are able to bounce questions off of each other and just reach out to one another — I look forward to coming back together in July and catching up with everyone.”
Tonya Umberson Branch Manager / Marketing Officer / Vice President Arvest Bank, Lincoln
