FINDING YOUR STYLE: “When trying to pick your floral style I tell brides to look at themselves,” says Deidre Laskoskie of dei-zinz fresh studio. She recommends to ask yourself these questions: What is your fashion style? Your decorating style? Are you more serious and formal or more fun and flirty? Answers to these questions can start to depict an overall style to carry over to your big day.

“A typical floral budget can account for 15-20% of your total wedding budget.” THE FIRST MEETING: “The first consultation is an opportunity for the bride and florist to not only build a rapport, but go over important details of the wedding day!” says Alexandra Duemer of The Studio at Cactus Flower. “Also be sure to look at the quality of their flowers and make sure they respond to any concerns you have.”

SETTING A BUDGET: A typical floral budget can account for 1520% of your total wedding budget. “If you’re working with a strict budget, let your florist know from the start. We can often create a similar look at many different price points by changing out the types of flowers used,” says Malori Maeva of Noir Floral & Styling.
