gaming news HARRAH’S GIVES BACK - IN A BIG WAY On January 21, the Caesars Foundation, coordinated through the staff at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino, presented an $8,000 check to American Cancer Society for Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino’s month-long initiative to raise awareness of preventative health and treatment of breast cancer during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In addition, Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino also donated $3,100 to the American Cancer Society from donations from Harrah’s employee’s activities and donations. “Caesars Entertainment, and locally at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino, has a long-standing passion for community outreach and volunteerism,” said Jane Stimmel, employee engagement manager and HERO chair. “We were excited to participate in this program through Caesars Foundation and coordinate the Foundation’s donation to the American Cancer Society.” The Caesars Foundation is a private foundation funded by a percentage of operating income from Caesars Entertainment’s resorts. The Foundation’s objective is to strengthen organizations and programs in the communities where our employees and their families live and work.
