Verkamp’s Visitor Center East of El Tovar Hotel Housed in the former Verkamp’s Curios, displays tell the story of the South Rim community. Tusayan Museum 3 miles west of the East Entrance Exhibits provide a glimpse of the rich Native American cultures, both past and present. A short trail circles an 800-year-old ancestral Puebloan village.
