T H E FA S T E R W AY T O M OW L A RG E R L AW N S Reclaim your weekend with the Ariens zero-turn range. ‘Turn-ona-sixpence’ and mow your lawn in half the time of a conventional lawn tractor. In recent years, zero-turn ride-on lawnmowers have grown in popularity both here in Europe and throughout the USA. The reason is simple. People are working harder and longer hours than ever before. Come the weekend, few want to spend their precious day-off mowing the lawn. An Ariens zero-turn will complete the work in no time at all. What makes these zero-turns so fast? Rather than the conventional steering system found on a lawn tractor or out-front mower, these zero-turns are driven and steered by the rear wheels via two independent transmissions. Two handles are all you need to drive, brake and steer. This system enables you to spin on the spot. Imagine – no three-point-turn at the end of the cutting pass. After just a few minutes of practice, the controls feel second nature. You can easily and precisely cut around obstacles such as flower beds, trees or garden ornaments.

A zero-turn mower will allow you to cut your lawn efficiently as you can turn 180° at the end of a mowing row. There is no need to drive over previously cut areas or waste time backing up to manoeuvre into position for the next pass.

ZERO EMISSIONS. LOW NOISE. FULL COMMERCIAL PERFORMANCE. The ZENITH E is a fully commercial battery-powered zero-turn specifically designed for the professional user. It can be used for a full working day between charges and operates with no emissions and quiet operation. For the commercial landscaper, working in urban, populated areas brings specific demands that can be difficult to overcome with conventional power equipment. A customer’s sensitivity towards excessive noise and carbon emissions may place restrictions on the use of petrol or diesel engine mowers around schools, offices, hospitals and some inner-city parks. The ZENITH E is the first, fully-commercial battery powered zero-turn that overcomes these issues without compromising on performance or productivity. Based upon the best-selling ZENITH platform, the ZENITH E delivers the same outstanding features but with advanced, proprietary technology which makes it the new industry leader in battery-powered zero-turns.

INTELLIGENT LOAD BAL ANCING

Four interchangeable batteries allow for up to five and half hours of continuous cutting. The battery management system provides intelligent load balancing. This means that power is drawn from fully-charged batteries first, before then drawing from all four batteries equally.

BL ADE SLIP FE ATURE

Ariens patent-pending spindle design can absorb impact with little risk of serious damage. A unique blade slip feature allows the blade to slip momentarily should it hit an unmovable object, protecting the 3.5kW spindle motor. The spindle has a replaceable bottom bearing allowing for servicing and maintenance without the need to replace the whole unit.

THE ZENITH IS THE PROFESSIONAL’S CHOICE. Designed for the professional, the Ariens ZENITH features a fully commercial, 10-gauge steel cutter deck and is available in either a 132cm (52") or 152cm (60") side or rear discharge deck configuration. The addition of front caster fork suspension and a full suspension seat makes cutting grass all day even easier – the impact on uneven surfaces is better absorbed, giving a more comfortable ride. This, coupled with fast ground speeds of 8.5mph, allows the user to focus on mowing more and stopping less. The tubular steel frame supports folding ROPS for added protection and peace-of-mind.

IKON XD S E R I E S

THE IKON XD IS PACKED WITH COMMERCIAL QUALITY FEATURES. It features a fully welded, heavy-duty tubular steel frame providing enhanced strength and stability whilst travelling over different terrains. The 10-gauge, fabricated deck is both durable and capable of excellent cut quality. Both models come with a dial-operated deck height selector. Depress the deck height foot pedal and, with a quick turn of the intuitively positioned dial, you can select from one of 13 cutting heights. Operator comfort is enhanced by a professional-style plush high back seat with armrests and padded control arms. Being a zero-turn, the IKON XD mows twice as fast as a typical ride-on. At the end of each pass, it can turn 180° in its own footprint, ready for cutting the next row. While both models come fitted with side-discharge decks, an optional conversion kit transforms the IKON XD into a high performance mulcher.
