By providing artistic resources and showcases for their work – including theater workshops, career mentorship and writers labs – we build performances that compel audiences to question how Asian Americans are encountered in both performance and American culture. By expanding the repertory for Asian American artists, we build bridges to Asian American audiences along with new and underserved communities, connecting them and others to great work made by Asian American artists and promoting a new appreciation for the vitality and importance of the Asian American presence on the American stage and screen.

T H E P R O J E C TA B O U T welcome to leviathan lab’s 2nd annual shakespeare quartet project. conceived by leviathan artistic director nelson t. eusebio iii as a six-week actor’s bootcamp in shakespeare textual analysis, dramaturgy and performance. the plays are edited, staged and produced by the actors with the help of a director|facilitator. this aligns with leviathan’s mission of providing asian american actors access to roles and positions of influence, and increasing our visibility in the professional performing arts world. the pieces you’ll be seeing tonight are in different stages of development. thanks for being here and supporting our process.
