La Corte di Brenta

Il mio nome è Arend, sono un artista mosaicista e ho stravolto l’idea di casa - galleria per consegnarla alla mia utopia e creare un luogo dove il tempo viene speso per conoscere e approfondire il rapporto tra arte e vita.

La corte di Brenta ospita un appartamento per vacanze indipendente e una casa che è una guest house, un luogo in cui l’arte si mostra per ciò che è: un momento di meditazione. I visitatori potranno entrare in luoghi intimi della casa, fermarsi qualche notte in stanze artistiche dove poter addormentarsi tra i mosaici, oppure fare una semplice visita e osservare la mostra permanente dei mosaici e scoprire le diverse stanze dedicate a mostre temporanee di altri artisti.

Abbiamo due stanze per gli ospiti una con un letto matrimoniale e un’altra con quattro letti singoli; la casa offre due bagni da condividere con altri ospiti.

Organizziamo tanti eventi, come incontri di meditazione, yoga, danza ecc..

Abbiamo un laboratorio di mosaico dove avrai l’opportunità di creare dei personali mosaici. Possiamo anche organizzare passeggiate a cavallo sul monte Campo dei Fiori. Se vuoi essere completamente indipendente potrai affittare una casetta nella stessa corte composta da due piani. Al piano terra c’è una cucina, con uno spazio per mangiare e un bagno; mentre al primo piano c’è un letto matrimoniale e un divano che si trasforma in un letto singolo.

Il territorio circostante è ricco di laghi come il lago Maggiore, di Lugano, di Varese e gli altri specchi d’acqua e offrono percorsi naturalistici, culturali e di svariate pratiche sportive.

La stazione ferroviaria più vicina è quella di Cittiglio della linea Milano cadorna - Laveno Mombello.

Oppure la stazione di Laveno Mombello della linea Bellinzona (CH) - Malpensa.

Qui alla Corte di Brenta cerchiamo di vivere seguendo questo pensiero: “Sii, il cambiamento che vuoi vedere nel mondo.” Gandhi My name is Arend, I’m a mosaic artist with a particular idea about living with art. I bring art and living together under the same roof. This idea is what I call “Home Gallery”, which is opened to backpackers, travellers, open-minded and free-spirited people. So, if you would like to join to a more creative side of living than please come for a visit! Here, in the Guest House, we have two different setup sleeping styles. One is a big room with a queens size bed suitable for a couple and has an extra bed for a couple with a child. The room has a balcony overlooking the main courtyard. The second is a shared room with one bunk bed and two single beds all in one big room with a balcony on the backyard garden, with also a mountain view. Here, in the main house, we have two shared bathrooms: one upstairs with a bath and one downstairs with a shower.

We have a lovely permaculture garden for our guests to sit, relax, and admire the mountain landscape. Here, we organize many events, such as meditation, yoga and dance. We have two healing areas: one outside and the other inside with massage therapists that live in the house. So, bodywork with different treatments is always available.

There is also an opportunity to make a personal mosaic piece in the atelier. We can also organize for you hiking and horse back-riding trips if you like.

If you want to be indipendent, you can rent a little house composed by two floors.

The ground floor has a kitchen and an eating-space plus bathroom and the first floor has a bedroom with a double bed and a little couch, which can be transformed into a single bed. The house is located in a court of the 17th century in Brenta (VA), only 33 km far from Lugano, 75 km far from Milan and only 5 km far from the beautiful Lake Maggiore. Closeby there is an interesting secondhandmarket as well as an organicshop, a pizzeria, kiosk.

The nearest train station is Cittiglio on the line Milano Cadorna - Laveno Mombello and is only 1 km far.
