Revealing the Mask

This energetic and creative full mask course, suitable for teachers, lecturers, and educators at any level, introduces participants to full mask.

Using games, exercises and shared exploration, the workshops carefully guide participants through the basics mask skills through to devising mask work. It is a course that will inspire and feed your teaching!

During the course we will cover:

- Characterisation

- Physicality

- Focus and clarity of movement

- Devising and internal monologue

- Creating mask script,

- The role of music and sound

- How you can use mask as part of your wider teaching.

Join the Arena Theatre, and members and venues of Wolverhampton Cultural Education Partnership as we shine the spotlight on careers in the Creative Industry by bringing together two panels of professionals who have forged careers.

From offering invaluable advice on navigating a competitive industry, to sharing their own personal stories: professionals will offer insight into the diverse paths that led them to where they are now, with panelists boasting expertise in the visual and performing arts, music, and much more.

Whether you’re an aspiring artist, or simply curious about what the Creative Industries could entail for you, come along for this free event: you will not want to miss your opportunity to ask the panelists those burning questions!
