JUNE
Y 9 JUN
bath-racecourse.co.uk RACENIGHT SAT 19 AUG

Avery warm welcome to our 90’s Racenight!

We are set for a sensational evening of racing, followed by a fantastic live music performance by Ultra 90’s; who will be performing a variety of classic chart, dance and club anthems. Renowned for their electrifying performances, Ultra 90s will deliver an authentic and immersive experience, bringing back the magic of the 90s with their infectious energy and outstanding musical talents.

We have an exciting evening flat racing, followed by an Arabian Race at the end of the evening. Arabian racing was re-introduced to Bath Racecourse at our meeting on the 26th May, and proved to be a thrilling conclusion to the evening. This evening’s race is our final Arabian Race of the year but the season continues through to September so please visit www.aroracing.co.uk to follow the exciting season unfold.

We are set for a number of other exciting race events in the near future. Our next raceday is Ladies Day on Saturday 17th June, and is one of the highlights of the racing calendar The day is filled with a number of competitive races, a wide variety of delicious food and drink and the Style Awards – where the winner gets to take home a huge £500 cash prize! Another highlight for music-lovers is our Rum and Reggae Racenight on Friday 4th August, which incorporates 7 exciting horse races with delicious food from Jamacia, in addition to live music after racing from an outstanding local Reggae band.

I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our dedicated staff who have been working tirelessly to ensure that this event is nothing short of spectacular Their hard work and commitment have been instrumental in creating an evening that promises to be a highlight of the summer here at Bath.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to thank each of our sponsors for the races this evening, their support is greatly appreciated. We hope you have a wonderful evening with us, and we hope to welcome you back soon to another 2023 fixture.

BAILAR CONTIGO has shown some improvement to hit the frame on each of her last 2 starts in handicaps on all weather, and given her low-mileage profile, she could be up to building on those efforts back on turf Recent C&D winner Kraken Filly could get competitive if the selection fails to live up to expectations, while Cosmic Star is worth a chance after almost a year off the track.

The HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan Racing Festival has played a significant role in the promotion of Arabian racing and breeding around the world since it began in 2009, aiming to continue the efforts made by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan to preserve heritage sports and equestrian sport in particular.

Currently sponsoring eight races in the UK, globally the Festival supports a wide variety of contests from the grassroots to the highest level, which culminates in the Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Jewel Crown, aGroup 1 PA run in Abu Dhabi in December, which was worth £1.1 million in 2022.
