Important Information for Non-European Union Citizens (the “Bidder” or “Bidders”) Wishing to Participate in Auctions of Galerie Arcimboldo (“Arcimboldo”)*
1. Auction Conditions and Liability By participating in the auction, the Bidder accepts the Auction Terms and Conditions of Galerie Arcimboldo (“Arcimboldo”), published in the catalogue and on the Arcimboldo website. In the event of any discrepancies, the following provisions shall prevail over the Auction Terms and Conditions. Every Bidder is personally liable for bids submitted by him/her. 2. Registration Arcimboldo accepts bids from non-EU citizens only under the following conditions: •
The registration form provided by Arcimboldo must be used for registration. It is available at the exhibition rooms, published in the catalogue and downloadable from the Arcimboldo website.
• Bidders participating in the salesroom must register with Arcimboldo prior to the start of the auction. • Bidders who wish to submit their bids by telephone or in writing must register with Arcimboldo no later than 48 hours prior to the start of the auction. •
The registration form must be completed and duly signed by the Bidder.
• Copies of the Bidder’s valid passport and valid credit card (both in the name of the Bidder) must be enclosed with the registration form. 3. Deposit
To secure its claims and those of the vendor, Arcimboldo requires a Deposit of the amount specified hereunder from every Bidder (“Deposit”).
3.1 Deposit for written and telephone bids:

3.2 Deposit for Bidders participating in the salesroom: If a Bidder wishes to bid in person in the salesroom, a Deposit of EUR 4,000 must be received prior to the start of the auction. If a Bidder wishes to bid on Premium Lots marked with the symbol ∆, a deposit of EUR 40,000 must be received prior to the start of the auction. 3.3 The Deposit must be received no later than 24 hours prior to the start of the auction. If the Deposit is not received prior to the start of the auction, the Bidder will not be permitted to participate in the auction. Payment of the Deposit may be made in cash or by Visa/Mastercard, PayPal, or bank transfer to the following account: Raiffeisenbank a. s., Prague, Czech Republic Account number: 4310085001 Bank Code: 5500 SWIFT/BIC: RZBCCZPP IBAN: CZ5555000000004310085001 Payments must include a note with the Bidder’s name or Client Number (if known). 4. Payment for the Auctioned Items
Payment for the auctioned items must be made according to the Auction Terms and Conditions, unless otherwise agreed. An additional fee of 3% of the invoiced sum shall be charged for credit card payments.
If a Bidder does not pay within the term of payment set forth in the Auction Conditions, Arcimboldo shall be entitled to charge a default interest of 10% p.a. Deposits will be applied to the invoiced sum, unless agreed otherwise. Surplus Deposits will be refunded to the Bidder after the auction without delay. Arcimboldo will release the Auctioned items only once the full invoiced sum has been paid.
